1938 Sold our first transformer.

 

1952 Sold our first transformer to an Investor-Owned Electric Utility Company in the United States.

 

1957 Designed dry-type core and coil assemblies for installation in compact unitized power centers.

 

1963 Provided (23) transformers to the 1964-65 World's Fair in New York.

 

1977 Provided (25) Hertz transformers for use on the Pennsylvania railroad system.

 

1980 Provided (58) unit substation transformers to the Disney World theme park.

 

1983 Designed liquid-filled and dry-type transformers for Tokamak Fusion Reactors at Princeton University requiring short circuit withstand for repetitive crowbar short circuits.

 

1984 Designed liquid-filled transformers for operation in Seismic Zone 4 area.

 

1987 Designed traction-duty power transformers for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

 

1988 Designed dry-type transformers for Tokamak Fusion Reactors at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology requiring short circuit withstand for repetitive crowbar short circuit.

 

1989 Designed and manufactured (55) exact replacement transformers for a NASA PCB project.

 

1990 Designed and manufactured (70) non-ventilated nitrogen sealed dry-type transformers requiring operation in a -64°F ambient for the US Antarctic program.

 

1992 Designed and manufactured a 9/10 MVA transformer with FOW heat exchanger built for electric arc furnace application.

 

1993 Shipped a large motor-starting auto-transformer to China.

 

1995 Custom-designed and manufactured transformers for a Georgia Pacific PCB retrofit project, resulting in minimal change-out time.

 

1997 Designed and manufactured offshore three winding rectifier transformers for Shell URSA Offshore for installation in Class 1, Group D, Division 2 hazardous location.

 

1998 Designed, manufactured, and delivered in record time a 37.5 MVA regulating auto-transformer with LTC, saturated core reactors and a DC power supply. This customer suffered a site failure and was experiencing costly downtime.

 

1999 Provided four winding rectifier-duty transformers for installation on the North Slope for ARCO Alaska.

 

1999 Enhanced the capability for the design and manufacture of cast coil transformers.

 

2000 Provided VFD Isolation transformers shipped to Geneva Steel Company.

 

2001 Designed and manufactured a 5,000 kVA watercooled arc furnace transformer for Saint Gobain.

 

2001 Designed and manufactured 6,900 kVA three winding rectifier-duty transformers with DC link reactors for Reliant Energy.

 

2002 Designed and manufactured 20 MVA on-load tap changers transformers for New York City DEP project.

 

2003 Shock-tested nuclear propulsion transformers for use on aircraft carriers for the US Navy.

 

2003 Designed and manufactured a 5,881 kVA ANSI #45/46 for Falconbridge copper electro-winding application.

 

2004 Designed and manufactured a 2,820 kVA multitap rectifier-duty transformer for Brookhaven National Laboratory STAR power supplies.

 

2005 Designed and manufactured (30) rectifier-duty transformers for Canadian Nexen Yemen oil field development project.

 

2005 Designed and manufactured an extra-heavy-duty traction transformer for the MBTA transit authority.

 

2005 Designed and manufactured an 8,770 kVA ANSI 25/26 rectifier-duty transformer for INCO Alloys.
